Yard Person / Trade Counter Sales

Our Client are an established Dungannon based business, hey are currently recruiting a yard person / trade counter sales person to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, be self-motivated, and have excellent customer service skills.

The Yard Man / Trade Counter will be responsible for the day to day running of the yard, serving customers and ensuring smooth operations of the overall yard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and organise yard operations including equipment & supplies
• Assist customers with their orders at the trade counter and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Process orders
• Maintain accurate inventory records of products in the yard.
• Load and unload inventory and equipment for customers.
• Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery as required.
• Prepare and deliver orders to customers. –
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and regulations.

Criteria

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in yard operations and customer service.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritise, and work under pressure.
• IT Literate
• Familiarity with safety guidelines and regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to operate forklifts – training will be provided if not.
• Valid driver license
