Our Client is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Trade Counter Sales /Sales Order Processor to join their team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for attending to customer orders, queries, and inquiries accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. The Trade Counter/Sales Order Processor will also be responsible for processing sales orders, coordinating with warehouse and logistics teams, and maintaining accurate records of inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their inquiries and purchases.
  • Process sales orders accurately and efficiently using the company’s sales order processing system via Sage.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory and update stock levels as necessary.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely order processing, delivery, and distribution.
  • Provide after-sales support and follow up with customers to ensure their satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean and organized trade counter area.

Person Specification:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a trade counter/sales order processing role or a related field.
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively and professionally with customers.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting and cash handling processes.
