Job: Production Planner in Dungannon
Our client, a growing manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced Production Planner & Scheduler to join their team. Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll play a key role in scheduling production, coordinating with sales and production teams, and ensuring accurate delivery planning across a multi-work centre environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule production to meet customer demand and capacity constraints.
- Communicate schedules to production, purchasing, and sales teams.
- Oversee order processing, lead-time confirmation, and delivery planning.
- Lead materials and resource planning for weekly/daily schedules.
- Act as main contact for production progress and delivery updates.
- Support continuous improvement and enhance planning processes using ERP tools.
- Maintain output, despatch, and sales forecast reports for the CEO.
Essential Criteria
- Previous production planning/scheduling experience.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a high-volume environment.
- Customer-facing experience with strong communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and MRP/ERP systems.
- Strong organisational, numeracy, and literacy skills.
Desirable
- Third-level qualification.
- Experience in engineering or using advanced scheduling tools.
- Strong teamwork and time-management skills.
