Plant Mechanic

Our client are a family run business operating from multiple locations throughout Ireland, as a result of continuous growth and  winning several new contracts they are currently recruiting a Plant Mechanic.

The successful candidate will join the service team in their Dungannon premises carrying out repairs and service work on a wide range of heavy plant and machinery.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a varied role which offers training, development and technical challenges.

Duties Include:

• Maintenance and repair on plant and equipment.
• Technical support to customers.
• Fault diagnosis.
• On-site servicing.
• High level of customer service.

What you’ll need: 

• Previous experience in the repair of plant and equipment.
• Good all round mechanical skills.
• Experience of working on diesel engines.
• Full driving licence.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to work as part of a team.
• Knowledge of electrics, electronics and hydraulics would be advantageous.

Hours of work:
7.30am – 5pm, Monday – Friday
Saturdays (paid at a premium rate) on a rotational basis from 7.45am – 12.30pm.
