Due to continued growth and expansion our specialist engineering client are currently recruiting a Payroll Lead to join their team.

This employer is keen to recruit an experienced individual who is looking to secure long term employment with a company who can offer the following benefits:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and maintaining weekly and monthly payroll.
  • Keep up to date on HMRC and legislative requirements
  • Prepare and submit statutory returns
  • Administer auto enrolment and pension schemes
  • Deal effectively with payroll queries from staff
  • Assist in maintaining financial information and systems
  • Processing Invoices and information onto Purchase Ledger
  • General admin/filing
  • Match purchase orders to invoices, coding of purchase invoices.

Criteria:

  • Applicants should have at least 2 years` experience in a Payroll environment
  • Must have strong organisational skills and ability to work in fast paced environment
  • Experience in SAGE payroll package an advantage but not essential
