Maintenance Manager

Our established multi-site manufacturing company based in Antrim is currently recruiting a Maintenance Manager to develop and oversee the maintenance function of the business.

Working closely with the Production Management Team, overseeing a Maintenance Supervisor and a team of engineers, the successful candidate will become a key member of staff.

Duties

• Develop and maintain a fully functional system for planned preventative maintenance.
• Ensure quality standards are adhered to and issues are dealt with in a prompt manner.
• Responsible for all maintenance activities in the factory, such as identifying machine faults, investigating production problems and completing equipment repairs quickly and efficiently.
• Manage maintenance spares and control costs.
• Assist Management to assess ongoing training needs and provide updates on team performance.
• Work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to improve business results / KPIs.

Criteria

• Experience of people management and team leading is essential.
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing facility
• Multi skilled maintenance experience
• Demonstrable strong technical ability including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic knowledge
• Confident in problem solving leading to decision making.
• Process driven with high level of attention to detail.
