Company Accountant – Temp to Perm

Our Monaghan based client employ over 3000 people throughout their sites in Ireland, North America and Europe. They are an award winning, forward thinking company whose business model encompasses production & processing and packaging & distribution of their product.

They are currently recruiting a Qualified Company Accountant to join their team. This is a Temporary contract that could lead to a permanent role.

Working within an experienced team, the successful candidate will be responsible for

• Daily Cash Sheet
• Journal Postings
• Accounts for Canada
• Annual statutory accounts preparation and management of annual audits
• Prepare monthly or quarterly management accounts
• Submitting quarterly VAT returns
• Carrying out bank reconciliations
• Managing ledgers
• Producing budgets and forecasts
• Managing cash flow and bank balances

Personal Specification

• Knowledge of accounting terms and concepts
• Understanding of finance regulations and legislation
• Knowledge of business strategy and methodology
• Bachelors degree, Masters degree in Corporate Finance or Business
• Understanding of finance regulations, VAT and legislation
• Knowledge of business strategy and methodology
• Analytical skills
• May accept part qualified accountant with a high level of industrial experience.
