Area Sales Representative

Our client are a leading manufacturing & distribution company supplying the construction industry throughout UK & Ireland, due to new contracts they have an opportunity for an Area Sales Representative to join their team and participate in their growth plans.

The role – 

• Identifying and cultivating new business opportunities with customers throughout Ireland
• Manage the full sales process from initial contact through to closed sale
• Manage and update the CRM, logging queries and ensuring high quality information
• Prepare monthly performance reports
• Manage existing accounts for growth by building strategic business relationships with key customers
• Liaise closely with our Production Team regarding customer drawings/specifications
• Ensure accurate technical guidance is provided to customers
• Assist with tenders and proposals to help us win public sector projects

Who we are Looking for:

• Ambitious sales-person with both the hunger to uncover sales opportunities close sales
• Ability to build rapport with colleagues and customers
• Ability to work on your own initiative without the need for supervision
• Excellent communication skills both verbal & written
• Minimum of 3 years B2B sales experience preferably within construction or manufacturing sector
• Bid or Proposal writing skills (desirable)

You will need a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.
