Our engineering client based in the Coalisland area are currently recruiting for a part time Accounts Assistant to join the team.
Part-Time Role: 20-25hrs (to be discussed with the successful candidate)

Reporting directly to the Financial Director, the ideal candidate will be experienced in all aspects of accounts and with an ability to manage their time to ensure they add value to our existing team and operations. The successful person should have a meticulous nature and thrive on working in a fast-paced environment.
Main duties & responsibilities:
- Purchase ledger invoice processing and reconciliation of supplier balances
- Customer credit control
- Support payroll processing when applicable (weekly & monthly)
- VAT returns / EC Sales List / Intrastat returns support
- Weekly & monthly bank reconciliations
- Maintenance of internal databases and accounting system information
- Provide timely and accurate reports and general administration support for the financial controller
- Assistance with monthly management accounts
- Any other duties within reason as and when required
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum of 3 years accounts assistant experience gained within a commercial environment
- Experience of purchase ledger processing and month end closure procedures
- Credit control experience
- Strong working knowledge of computerised Accounts Packages (e.g. SAGE Accounts & Payroll)
