Company Accountant (Reduced Hours)

Our client are an established business in the Dungannon area, they are currently recruiting a  Company Accountant to join their team.

This is a great opportunity offering the successful candidate the opportunity to oversee the accounting function of the business and work closely with company directors regarding commercial and financial aspects of the business. This position offers flexible working hours (approx 30hrs per week)

Key Duties

• Develop and update financial control systems as necessary to meet current governance standards and put processes in place to mitigate any financial risks
• Develop and implement a job costing system to ensure the production of accurate and timely reports
• Produce financial reports for directors
• Monitoring financial risks and bring to attention of directors
• Liaise with banks and other financial institutions as required
• Monitor overhead costs and identify reductions where possible
• Ensure that the company meets all statutory and legal obligations
• Preparation of year end audit file working with company auditors
• Day to day management of bank accounts
• Preparation of cashflow forecasts and modelling
• Preparation of annual budgets

Personal Specification and Experience

• Fully qualified Chartered Accountant CAI/ACA or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience .
• Strong IT skills.
• High level of ICT Literacy including knowledge of relevant accounting software.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills
