EMPLOYMENT HISTORY
Contracts Engineer 3+ years
- Visiting site pre-commencement
- Preparing Method Statements and Risk Assessments, and implementing safe working practices on site
- Site briefings and toolbox talks
- Implementing design to site execution
- Ensuring up to date Contract documentation is reviewed and in place
- Maintaining site records and diaries
- Liaise with QS to identify change/delay to tender
- Procurement and scheduling of plant and/or materials
- Control of costs and financial reporting to Contracts Manager
- Operating accounts system for control of material and plant orders

- Support management in coordinating trades, direct labour, and materials to meet the construction programme.
- Direct supervision of work activities & labour.
- Monitor and control of all site activity to ensure quality standards.
- Ensure health and safety practices are maintained to provide a safe working environment.
- Preparation of method statements and risk assessments.
- Liaise with client representatives to facilitate work activities.
Site Engineer 1 year
- Preparing pre-start documents & toolbox talks
- Interpreting drawings and marking up on-site
- Locating services and checking against current drawings
- Checking trench levels (Rotating Laser & Dumpy Level)
- Checking trench points using surveying equipment
- Assisting in general duties
- Setting out Duties (Robotic Total Station & GPS)
