This role will provide administration support to the business. Based in the sales department, the role will be a support function to the sales team and to our customers and will focus heavily on telephone and email communications with customers, team members and data entry and maintenance of the systems.

The Job:

  • To take and respond to calls from customers, team members and any other stakeholders, either assisting directly or ensuring they are passed to the appropriate person
  • To provide admin support to the sales department, including but not limited to:
  • Entering sales orders onto the system
  • Consumables – taking orders from customers and ensuring they are processed through the system
  • Data entry from sales team, customers and other sources onto the system
  • Processing order confirmations and changes and communicating these with the relevant people
  • Processing despatch notifications
  • Accommodation and car hire organisation
  • Assist with the drafting of tender documents
  • Collating information and producing reports
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Ensure communication between sales and other company departments is seamless, and identifying and proposing solutions to any areas requiring attention
  • Assist and provide the business with any other administrative functions

The Person

Experience and Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 GCSEs (A-C), including English and Maths
  • At least 1 years’ office experience
  • Experience of working in a professional, fast paced and challenging environment
  • Ability to operate at all levels
  • Proven customer service focus – understand the need, solve problems and respond efficiently
