Our busy manufacturing client in the Cookstown are require a Purchasing Administrator to join their team. The Purchasing Administrator will support the overall functionality the procurement team on a temporary ongoing basis through the fast-paced utilization of Excel, Sage and in-house systems with a focus on volume and IT literacy.

Responsibilities:

  • Validate and transfer Bills Of Materials onto Sage 1000 computer system
  • Produce weekly open order reports and circulate to Suppliers
  • Record accurate information within internal systems and databases
  • Generate indirect Purchase Orders to Buyer approval stage
  • Actively participate in stock takes
  • Any other ad hoc duties that may be required

Person Spec:

  • GCSEs
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office (Excel is essential)
  • Able to work on own initiative within agreed timescales
  • Well organised
  • Good interpersonal & communication skills
  • Committed to H & S
