Job Role: Production Manager in Omagh

We are seeking an experienced and driven Production Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our production teams and manufacturing processes.

You will ensure efficient, cost-effective production while maintaining high quality standards and meeting customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Operations

  • Lead and optimise production processes across multiple teams and facilities
  • Plan and deliver production schedules (daily to annual)
  • Manage materials, supply chain, and equipment procurement/maintenance
  • Drive productivity, efficiency, and cost control while maintaining quality
  • Coordinate resources to meet project deadlines and client specifications
  • Identify and implement process improvements and production systems (e.g. MRP)
  • Oversee facility improvements and production layout planning

 

Health, Safety & Quality

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and enforce safe working practices (including PPE)
  • Maintain equipment safety checks, records, and risk assessments
  • Implement quality assurance processes and resolve issues promptly
  • Support ISO standard preparation and continuous improvement

 

People Management

  • Lead, motivate, and develop production teams across sites
  • Manage staffing, performance, labour allocation, and costs
  • Foster a positive, high-performing work environment
  • Identify training needs and support staff development
  • Handle employee issues in line with company policies

Person Specification:

  • Proven experience in production or operations management
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Commitment to health & safety and quality excellence
  • Continuous improvement mindset
