Marketing Executive

Our client, a Tyrone based engineering company, are currently recruiting a Marketing Executive to join their team.

This client has been in business for over 40 years, they export products globally and have ambitious plans for further expansion and growth. The company put their success down to their reputation for quality design & manufacturing and to the calibre of staff  that they attract.

 
The role

The person appointed will gradually achieve superior customer engagement, assessing website traffic and revenue by strategically exploiting all aspects of the social media marketing roadmap. This is an opportunity for someone to grow this role and make it their own.

Duties Include

• Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform
  determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification.
• Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that
  builds meaningful connections and encourages staff to take action.
• Set up and optimise company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of
  company’s social content.
• Moderate all user-generated content in line with Company Policy.
• Continuously improve by capturing and analysing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights
  and best practices, and then acting on the information
• Collaborate with other departments to manage reputation, identify key players and
  coordinate actions.
• Organise and manage UK and global Trade shows, attend local Trade shows to enhance the
  sales team efforts.
• Assist with the trade show stand/booth design and produce graphics for display which best
  encapsulate the companies products.
• Update company website with imagery and content. Monitor website traffic.

Requirements and skills:

• Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a Digital Media Specialist
• Excellent writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills.
• Demonstrable social networking / digital marketing experience
• Adequate knowledge of web design & web development. (Desirable)
• Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
• Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organisational
  ability.
• BSc in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations (Desirable)
