Our multi site manufacturer supplying goods to the Construction industry are currently recruiting for a HR Generalist.

Full Time permanent based in the Monaghan Office.

Reporting to the Business Process Manager, this position will, in strategic partnership with the business, assist with the implementation of HR activities in the business. The HR Generalist will assist and support in maintaining an effective and efficient Human Resources service and will be  responsible for maintaining all aspects of the day-to-day HR function.

  1. Responsibilities
  • Assist and provide HR advice to employees throughout all stages of the employee life cycle
  • Manage the back office and day to day HR procedures including employee files and contracts.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on key areas such as performance reviews, appraisals, disciplinaries and investigations.
  • Effective operation of the full suite of on boarding and off boarding employees
  • Employee relations and employee law – best practice processes and ability to improve efficient processes.
  1. Requirements for the role:
  • HR qualification
  • 3+ years experience in a similar role
  • Experience within the manufacturing industry is very beneficial but not essential
  • Support the implementation of best practice processes
  • Exceptional relationship-building and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact at all levels  in the organisation.
  • High levels of organisation skills, a strong work ethic, attention to detail and process driven.
  • Work well under pressure, meet deadlines, drive projects to completion and manage the Results.
  • Plenty of initiative with the ability to work independently and hit the ground running
  • Ability to adhere to NDA’s and maintain confidentiality.

Hours of work 

8:30-5 Mon-Thurs

8:30 – 4 Fri

(9am start can be considered)

(Working from home option 1-2 days per week will also be considered.)
