Company Accountant

Our Construction client in the Dungannon area require a Company Accountant to join their team.

Duties Include:

• To lead, develop and motivate the accounts team, providing for the engagement and welfare, ensuring tasks are delegated whilst ensuring quality through review mechanisms.
• Preparation of quarterly management accounts.
• Preparation of monthly job costings.
• Preparation of statutory financial statements.
• Preparation of financial information as appropriate for the Board of Directors to aid the decision-making process.
• Management of CIS, PAYE and VAT functions.
• Cash flow management and projections.
• Co-ordination of monthly operations meetings with QS department and Company Directors to review job performance.
• Develop and recommend / implement process improvements.
• Continuous improvement across the operations network through the introduction of disciplined procedures and by developing and maintaining internal controls.
• Any other duties required to fulfil the requirements of the position.

Knowledge, skills, and experience required:

• Previous people management experience
• Fully Qualified with at least three years post qualification experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong excel skills.
• Ability to drive change where necessary.
• Previous experience within the Construction industry would be desirable but is not essential.
• A good team player with strong professional work ethic.
