Our client based in the Armagh area require an accountant to join their team:

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supervising accounts staff and office administration
  • Keeping management/financial accounts and providing periodic financial reports required.
  • Ensuring compliance with HMRC VAT, CIS and other statutory requirements.
  • Dealing with contract management teams regarding contract performance queries.
  • Managing Bank Accounts and cash flow.
  • Implementing and ensuring compliance with all accounting systems and control procedures.
  • Liaising with our external auditors and developing our systems with their guidance.
  • All other duties as required by Senior Management in line with your role.


  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Professional manner is essential.
  • Possess a ‘can-do’ attitude.
  • Capable of working on own initiative.
  • Able to prioritise, multi-task and an understanding of deadlines and working to achieve these.
  • Must be commercially aware, reliable, trustworthy and be able to deal with confidential information.
  • Part qualified or recently qualified accountant with experience of SAGE Accounting Systems.
  • Must have excellent Microsoft skills including Outlook & Excel.
  • Must have a full UK Driving Licence


  • Monday-Thursday 9am-5:00pm; Friday 9am-3pm.
