Our successful manufacturing client require a part qualified accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will have previous experience in management accountant duties within a busy organization.
Purchase Ledger duties to include:
Processing supplier invoices
Supplier payments and dealing with supplier queries
Supplier statement reconciliation
Management Accountant duties to include:
Preparation of monthly management accounts
Assist with preparation of statutory accounts
Stock reconciliations, valuations and usage analysis
Prepare management reports for each business in a timely and accurate manner.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
Preparation and presentation of variance analysis.
Posting and subsequent balance sheet reconciliations.
Preparation and submission of statutory returns.
Provide backup & support to finance team members.
Ad hoc duties as and when required.
Ad hoc projects as requested by the Financial Controller
Observe all Company Rules, Standard Operating Procedures and Company Policies particularly in relation to Health and Safety, Harassment, Disciplinary and ICT Security.
Minimum 2 years’ industry experience in a manufacturing environment covering all aspects of the finance function
Strong accounts knowledge
Part Qualified professional accountancy qualification CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Possess the ability to work to strict deadlines
Competent in the use of MS Office, particularly Advanced Excel
Candidates who are not degree qualified but have a strong background in accounts will also be considered.
Competitive salary depending on experience.
Hours of work are Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm & Friday 8am-1pm
